About EstateJio Payment Process: Easier, Better, Clutter-Free group buy

You have used the “Host a Jio” feature (as a Host) to create your own group buy listings and the Jio has met its minimum target. Or Members have started to Jio from your Offers (as a Provider) and the Jio has met its minimum target. So what’s next is the payment process.

Do you always have to send payment requests individually to all your buyers? Take away this time-consuming tasks! By using the Payment Request in the EstateJio app, you will be able to easily send payment request instructions to all your buyers in one go. You will also be able to easily keep track of who has or has not made payment in the Order List.

Let’s dive deep into how you can kick-start this payment request process for your group buys.

1. How to Request for Payment as a Host/Provider?

Once your Jio has met the minimum group buy target, and you have tapped on the “Confirm Order” button (after you tapped on “View Orders”), you will be able to see the “Request for Payment” button.

1.1 Request for Payment

For Hosts:

  1. Tap on “More”.
  2. Tap on “My Hosted Jio”.
  3. Tap on the Jio of your choice.
  4. Tap on “View Orders”.
  5. Tap on “Request for Payment”.

For Providers (in Providers App):

  1. Tap on “Jios”.
  2. Tap on the Jio of your choice.
  3. Tap on “View Order List”.
  4. Tap on “Request for Payment”.

1.2 Indicate Payment Instruction

After you tap on the “Request for Payment” button, there will be a pop-up for you to indicate the Payment Instruction (e.g. Please PayNow to 9345xxxx by this Friday, 12pm). This instruction will be displayed to your buyers.

1.3 Payment Requested

You will notice that the Payment Status for your buyers’ orders will be changed to “Payment Requested“. There will also be a green “Confirm” button for you to indicate that you have received the payment. Sometimes, your buyer may update you their payment details outside the app (e,g. via WhatsApp). You will still be able to indicate payment received.

1.4 Payment Updated with Payment Details

When your buyers have updated their payment details via the app, you will be able to view the payment details (either screenshot image or transaction reference number). You can verify and tally these payment details with your own record, and tap on the green “Confirm” button to indicate payment received.

If the payment details submitted by the buyers does not tally with yours, you can tap on the “Not Received” button, to indicate to your buyers to send their payment details again.


2. How to Make Payment as a Buyer?

  • Pending payment request
  • Update Payment Details

2.1 Payment Request from Host/Provider

Once the Jio is confirmed by the Host/Provider, they will request for payment from their end and you will have 1 pending payment request shown on your Discover screen.

Tap on the “You have 1 pending payment request” button, and you will be brought to the payment request details.

2.2 Update Payment Details

You will be able to view the payment request details, (e.g. Please PayNow to 9345xxxx). You can use your preferred banking app or internet banking to make the payment transfer.

Once you have successfully made the payment transfer, you can either screenshot the payment transfer transaction details, or note down the transaction reference number. At the “Update Payment Details” screen, you will be able to either upload the screenshot, or input the transaction information. Once submitted, your Order Details’ payment status will be indicated as “Payment Sent“. You can find your Order Details in the Orders option.

These payment information that you updated in “Update Payment Details” will be presented to the Host/Provider at their end ,and they will be able to view your payment details, and acknowledge your payment.

Once the Host/Provider acknowledges that they have received your payment, they can update the status as “Payment Received“, and this will be reflected in your Order Details’ payment status.

Where can I view the Orders of my Hosted Jio?
  1. Tap on “More”.
  2. Tap on “My Hosted Jio”.
  3. Tap on the Jio of your choice.
  4. Tap on “View Orders”.
Can I export the Order List?

You can tap on “Export Order List” to receive a complete order list via your registered email.

Can I generate Order Delivery Labels?

Coming Soon! You can tap on “Export Delivery Label” to receive an auto-generated delivery labels via your registered email.

What should I do if the buyer still didn’t make payment?

Sometimes, the buyer could be busy and have missed out on the notification. You can use the chat function to chat with the buyer, to ask them for payment.

What should I do if I faced issues during the payment process?

You can contact us via the app. Tap on “More” followed by “Contact Support”. Tell us the technical difficulty you faced and attach an image file if necessary. Or you can send a WhatsApp message to us at +65 8881 0608.
